Seeing as I had no time to waste at a physical college (see Jobs above.. heh) I studied online and wrote the required exams. I would just like to include a little thanks to LinuxRulz for contributing financially to my studies.
What do I do? Well most of the time I'm co-ordinating the LinuxRulz development team in their projects and overall management. Second to that I manage the sister of LinuxRulz Linux Based Systems Design. I'm involved in alot of software and systems development within LinuxRulz, including design, implementation and mentoring. If I'm not doing one of those, I'm coding or spending time with my lovely wife.
As one of my hobbies I enjoy programming, languages I enjoy coding in include C/C++, Java, Python, Perl, PHP, SQL99. Languages I've used but don't like and will never use again include Pascal/Delphi, M$ Visual C/C++, M$ Visual Basic. Tools I use include GNU Build Tools (automake, autoconf, aclocal... etc), FLex (lex), Bison (yacc) and Glade. File formats I mainly use are XML based, libxml is a extremely powerfull and a pleasure to use.
Any programming I do falls under the GPL & LGPL license. Even though I can, I do not design GUI based applications and rather focus my skills on developing backends and server side software.
